I am an enthusiastic and approachable Teacher who is passionate in teaching children to progress and learn. I am well-organised and highly motivated. I have worked as a Class Teacher for nearly 20 years.
I am flexible in my approach to teaching, delivering in the style of the children`s needs and their way of learning. I have high expectations of all students and encourage them to reach their full potential. I use various teaching styles and assessment techniques. Positivity and independence from the children are encouraged.

Experience: I have experience of working with children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups delivering a series of Maths and English sessions. I am currently teaching year 11 &10 students in GCSE English & Maths.
I am also currently teaching students Maths & English that are in Y8, 6 & 3.
I have delivered Year 6 SATS Booster interventions to small groups of children and on a 1:1 basis. Planning & preparing Maths, Reading, Grammar & Writing activities. Involved planning, creating and organising resources, creating fun, engaging and creative lessons, enforcing independence, delivering skills-led series of sessions, encouraging progression of skills and differentiating activities.
I also have taught children in small intervention groups to address gaps in their learning. Involved Maths, Reading, Phonics, Grammar and Written work. Children used a range of learning tools: ICT, Numicon, phonics/spellings resources, story- cubes and storyboards, number investigations to support their learning.
