I am an French tutor who teaches across all levels, from primary school to adult learners. I`m a French native and have lived in France for over 20 years. I hold a sociology undergraduate degree and a masters in Journalism. I have been living and working in London for over two years. I believe that being a French native and my adaptability help me relate to English-speaking students and understand where they may be having difficulties.

Tutoring Approach: While living in France, I was an English tutor and this helped me develop my student-centred approach to teaching. I believe that each student has a unique way of learning and understanding. As a tutor, I try to relate to the student and see through their eyes what they might find complicated. I cover the individual topic with the student, placing emphasis on the problem areas and then ask them to explain back to me what I taught them. The whole process is very interactive and I encourage students to stop me if clarification is needed and try to get them talking about French more comfortably. If there is anything I have learned over the years, it is that to be proficient in a language you have to be comfortable using it and comfortable to make mistakes.

Availability: Weeknights from 6pm and weekends
