Information about Bennett
Hi, I`m Ben, I finished top of my year at the University of Cambridge, reading Natural Sciences, before obtaining a first class grade in a Geological Sciences Masters degree.
I started tutoring after university while working as a Geophysicist, and enjoyed it so much that I retrained as a maths teacher. I now have full QTS and DBS status and work as a maths teacher at a grammar school in Lincolnshire.
I would say that my strength as a teacher comes from a huge reserve of patience and understanding, combined with the ability to provide clear and easy to understand explanations with examples, that help to make mathematics more accessible to a full range of students, from those working hard for a pass grade at GCSE to those pushing for full marks on a further maths A Level.
Availability: I am primarily looking for students who could be tutored between the hours of 9am and 3pm UK time on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. I also have some availability for tutoring after the hours of 4:30pm
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: In addition to my first class undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications, I am a qualified teacher (QTS) and have three years of experience teaching GCSE and A Level Maths and Further Maths in secondary schools in the UK.
