I am a qualified Graphic Design & Art Tutor with over 10 years experience within the industry. I have had my own freelance Graphic Design business for many years. I can teach you the fundamentals of design, give you a crash course in the adobe suites and design history. I can also help to start your own freelance business, with your portfolios for university or school / college work.

In a more traditional format I am also a practising artist. I have taught and created an art programme in Canada for 6-16 year olds for three years. I love illustration, printmaking, watercolour and textiles.

I am patient, fun and have an understanding of different learning styles.

Experience: I have worked within the creative industry for over 10 years within the educational and professional art sectors. I have studied Graphic design and fine art for 6 years, often using my knowledge of both to intertwine practices. After university I became a visiting lecturer, helping students with their portfolios preparing them to enter into the professional industry. Parallel to this I have had my own freelance practice for over five years. I have worked with the V&A museum, Friends of the Earth and Extinction Rebellion. My expertise are branding, colour theory, design & art history, typography and digital design.

For the last three years I have created, developed and led the creative arts curriculum for 6-16 year old children living in Canada. I can help with GCSE art or equivalent, A levels or university entries. I have also taught the different techniques of painting, print making, textiles and illustration.
