I graduated with a degree in physics in 2018, and since then have been working as a maths and physics tutor with over 1000 hours tutoring under my belt. I have worked with Key Stage 3, A Level and university students. In 2022 I completed my PGCE and gained Qualified Teacher Status - during my PGCE year I spent 120 days teaching in two schools, and taught classes from years 7 – 13, across a range of abilities.

I take a student-led and personalised approach to tutoring. No two students are the same, and I enjoy working closely with my students to adapt to their needs and find the approach that works best for them! As a tutor, my job is to support my students to develop a deeper understanding, grow in confidence and reach their full potential.

Students learn best when they are given the opportunity to share and explore their ideas. I provide a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to try different approaches and feel comfortable to ask questions. As well as teaching key concepts, I focus on applying knowledge using examples and exam-style questions. By seeing how concepts are used in practice, my students gain a better understanding and develop the skills necessary for success in their exams.

Experience: -6 years tutoring maths and physics to individuals and small groups - I am experienced in preparing students for their GCSEs and A Levels and have had good success with helping students to achieve their goals

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Mathematics - 1 year teacher training programme including 120 days teaching in secondary schools.

- Spent 2 years teaching maths and English to teenagers at a school in Greece
