Information about Adam
As a graduate chemist, I am exclusively specialised to teach chemistry, not any other subject. I have a deep commitment to make chemistry learning joyful and to train confident, capable and firm students.
I earned my degrees in the first university of Hungary (Eotvos Lorand University Budapest). Thanks to this program I acquired a thorough knowledge of the 3 main fields in chemistry: physical, organic and inorganic. It provided a great experience in laboratory work and the skill to develop and apply ideas within a research project. In addition the program contained numerous theoretical and laboratory courses on several chemistry related science disciplines, like mathematics, physics, biology and geoscience.
My approach
After I assess the pupil in the initial session, I set up a teaching plan knowing his strenghts and weaknesses. I provide a model student example for my pupils, that means I orient and keep them on a road, what an ideal student would follow to absolve all the content of the required specification. I take into account the learning ability of every student. In addition I provide my own practice questions to build up a solid, deep and well grounded knowledge. Report about the teaching plan and progress of the student is given regularly.
Availability: From Monday to Sunday. Details about the exact times should be negotiated via personal messages.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been receiving students since 2011 and since 2016 I am a full time Chemistry Tutor in London. During the course of my tutoring career I have prepared students for a wide variety of exam boards like AQA, Edexcel, OCR, IB and worked with students who have autism, dyspraxia and behavioural problems.
