Marco

Marco is the Director of Science at a successful Multi Academy Trust, he is responsible for the science provision across the entire trust including both grammar and state schools. Identified as a school improvement and development specialist, Marco leads schools that perform within the top 10% - 2% in the country. Consequently Marco has a strong and comprehensive understanding of what it takes to succeed in both spheres.

Marco graduated with a 1st class honours degree and holds a further two post graduate degrees both at distinction level (PGCE and MAEd). He currently teaches in an OFSTED rated outstanding school, which consistently performs within the top 5% of the country. Recently recognised as a development specialist within the school, Marco is also Subject Leader for Teaching and Learning.

Marco’s approach centers on his highly tailored, individualised method, proven to be most effective at meeting the individual requirements of his students. A personable and charismatic individual Marco prides himself on building strong rapport with his students, enabling them to get the most from their studies. After an initial assessment of strengths and weaknesses, an intensive but rewarding programme will be established to secure the best possible results within the given time-frame. Successfully tutoring for four years Marco has been personally responsible for securing students outstanding GCSE results, places at Oxbridge and various Russell group universities.

Marco is an accomplished A level teacher having taught both physics and biology, his students regularly exceed their predicted grades and the provision at A level has been ranked ALPS 1, for the past five consecutive years.
