I teach Primary Maths and English, Key Stage 3 Maths and prepare children for SATS and 11+ entrance exams . I am a qualified teacher with 18 years experience in Key Stages 1 and 2 in both independent and state schools.
I hold a Joint Honours degree in French and Mathematics, a Masters in Linguistics and a PGCE in Primary Education. I am also a qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
I attended North London Collegiate School.
Availability: I teach individuals online and face to face, pairs and groups of 4.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher with 18 years experience in independent and mainstream schools in Key Stages 1 and 2. I have a sound knowledge of teaching practices and strategies for developing a good understanding of the basics in Maths and English. I have experience in preparation for 11+, SATs, KS 3 Maths and helping children who need support and confidence in their daily studies. I have tutored for 7 years covering Key Stage 1, 2 and 3.

Amalie was really fantastic with my little one. She was engaging and worked on developing his confidence in understanding Maths. My sim enjoys each of his tutoring session and looks forward to spending time learning with Amalie.

Amalie is a professional tutor. My son enjoys his English lessons. They are well organised and structured so no time is wasted. We receive indepth feedback on his progress which we value. We would highly recommend Amalie.

Although we only use Ms Amile’s services for a short while, the difference in our child’s comprehension and mental maths was extraordinary. Emily provides comprehensive support, her assessment of our daughter it was accurate, and then the follow-on work was engaging and communication with her brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parent.

Amalie is a truly fantastic tutor and a lovely person to deal with. In just one term, she helped our KS2-age children go from being maths also-rans to high flyers in their class. They find Amalie easy and pleasant to work with and she challenges them without pushing too hard. I couldn`t recommend her more.
