Information about Mosleh
I am a creative, hardworking, talented and caring lecturer who keens to conduct original research and make a difference in teaching strategies considering innovative ideas and the engineerings mission in next decades.
I am able to deliver a first-class learning experience through a well-balanced mixture of lecture theatres, classroom lessons, laboratories and workshops. I can teach across a range of program at all levels.
I have worked in both university and industry fields for more than 22 years. According to this experience I have written a Reinforced Concrete Design book in 1100 pages covering both academic and practical analysis and design aspects in a professional level. This book can be considered unique world wide.
My main goal is to make a bridge between taught theory in the universities and industry requirements. We connect students in BSc/MSc/PhD level, junior and professional engineers who are aiming to improve their skills in academic and professional level .
I will help engineers to improve their understanding of the concepts and problem solving ability, increase their confidence, accelerate their learning by focusing on theoretical methods along with practical structural analysis/design, and finally to be able to play a significant role as engineers in their professional career in both consultancy and contractor companies.
Furthermore, I am having precise knowledge and experience of using BS, EURO cods and ACI/AISC/AASHTO, as well as hands on extensive experience of computed and analytical Analysis and design.
Based on my 20 years of experience in the academic and industrial field, I deliver the following lessons at a standard level :
Graduated Engineers:
* professional analysis/design of structures £45/hour
* Chartered Engineer courses £55/hour
PhD/MSc

Design of structures includes more than 110,000 square meters of different buildings
Undertaken planning, designing, and reviewing plans for structures requiring advanced structural analysis to determine static and dynamic responses. These structures included mid-rise and high-rise (5-13 stories) commercial, residential, hotel and parking projects made of concrete, steel, masonry, etc.
Performed structural designs to meet strength and deflection limit states of UBC (Uniform Building Code), ASCE 7, AISC ASD and LRFD (Steel), ACI 318 (Concrete) and ACI 530 (Masonry) codes. Also, I am capable to design structure to EC2 and EC3.
Analyzed and designed substructures, such as structure basemen underground garage, individual-strap-mat-pile foundations, and retaining walls, etc
