TESTIMONIALS
"My daughter really enjoys Kirsty`s teaching. She has progressed very well and has developed a good interest in music. Kirsty communicates very well and sets good homework which is easy to follow. We are very happy with all she has done."
"Having not picked up my violin for 18 years, Kirsty has guided me back into playing and has managed to instill me with enough confidence as well as dramatically improve my technique so that I`m both enjoying playing again and managing to hit the right notes."
"Kirsty taught my Daughter, who is now 16 years old, to rekindle her enthusiasm for the Violin and to help her with her Music GCSE. I would really recommend Kirsty as an excellent Tutor, who is very patient, makes the lessons interesting and keeps the lessons structured but is willing to be flexible according to the needs of the Student. Kirsty was always Professional and punctual and completely reliable. My Daughter really enjoyed her lessons."

Experience: Kirsty is an experienced and enthusiastic violin tutor. Working with students of all ages and stages, she currently teaches both privately and in schools delivering group and one-to-one lessons. She has experience of supporting students successfully through ABRSM grade exams and auditions, but equally enjoys working with students who just want to learn for fun. Believing strongly that good quality music education should be accessible to all, she has worked as a strings tutor for Camden Music Service (London) and Renfrewshire Council (Scotland) delivering wider-opportunities and individual violin lessons, as well as frequently working as an assistant tutor for London Music Masters.
She recently attended the Benedetti Sessions at the Southbank Centre as continuous professional development for teaching skills, and has enjoyed working with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and The Sixteen as part of their education and outreach programmes.
Kirsty is also a busy freelance performing violinist. She enjoys playing with groups such as the Scottish Ballet orchestra and Eboracum Baroque, and has performed in venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall to BBC`s famous Maida Vale studios.
