Information about Ravi
Academia has always been something I believe to be extremely important, for the future prospects it can provide as well as the skills it helps to develop outside of the classroom. Ultimately, I have an appetite to learn which has lent itself to an appetite to teach too. During my GCSEs and A-levels, I achieved 11A*s and 3As respectively. I believe that I am most proficient at Maths, Biology, Chemistry and English Language/Literature.
I have tutored numerous secondary school students in these subjects, and am currently still teaching various pupils. I generally hold meetings with parents every two weeks. During this, I provide an insight into their childs progress, and suggest solutions outside the lessons that could help advance their understanding further.
In essence, teaching has become such a fantastic way to make a difference to students, especially to those who lack confidence. It has become clear that people learn in different ways. Consequently, I have learnt to communicate ideas in diverse ways according to the pupil I am tutoring. My lesson plans vary from using mnemonics, making notes and even making catchy songs with my guitar! Seeing students who at one point thought they were devoid of intelligence but subsequently succeed at school, is an incredible feeling!
Please let me know if you are interested and are still looking for a tutor.
Kind regards,
Ravi

Experience: I have tutored many secondary students in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
During my university studies, myself and fellow students frequently teach each other material we find difficult which has improved the ways in which I communicate knowledge to others.
With these experiences I have learnt that different people work at different paces, but with perseverance anyone can learn with methods that they find comfortable; whether that is making notes, rehearsing theories out loud or even making songs!
