I’m an extremely experienced and professional Maths teacher/tutor, with a passion for his subject, who inspires, encourages and motivates children and young adults with a fun, patient and engaging manner.
I am ultra reliable, who prides himself on going the extra mile, in the very best interest of your child, in order that he or she fulfils their true potential.
Now semi-retired, I do also have availability during the school day.
Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 9:00am - 6:00pm
£40 per hour.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have 27 years teaching experience (originally a PE Teacher) in Primary, Secondary and Alternative Provision Schools. SATs and GCSE Maths are a specialism, particularly, converting predicted Grade 3 & Grade 4 students into Grade 5 qualifications.
I have also privately tutored children and young adults for over a decade, supporting their quest for examination success.

Neil has been helping my daughter in the run up to her GCSE’s. He’s great with comms and is patient and supportive. She has been finding the sessions helpful, doing lots of past practice papers

We have only recently started with Neil. He is tutoring our son who has just started year 11 and does his GCSEs next summer. Neil has been excellent. Very organised, great communication and most importantly, our son really likes him and feels he is really benefiting from the tuition. Very happy customers.
