I’m an extremely experienced and professional Maths teacher/tutor, with a passion for the subject, who inspires, encourages and motivates children and young adults with a fun, patient and engaging manner.

I am ultra reliable, always punctual and pride myself on going the extra mile,in the very best interest of your child, in order that he or she fulfils their true potential.

Now semi-retired, I do also have availability during the school day.

Availability: Hour long sessions on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:00am - 6:00pm

£40 per hour.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have 27 years teaching experience (originally a PE Teacher) in Primary, Secondary and Alternative Provision Schools. SATs and GCSE Maths are a specialism, particularly, converting predicted Grade 3 & Grade 4 students into Grade 5 qualifications.

I taught Maths full-time for over 15 years in State Schools and have also privately tutored children and young adults for well over a decade, supporting their quest for examination success.

I have enjoyed various roles of Pastoral responsibility throughout my career, so appreciate I am not just a teacher of Maths, but a teacher of children first and foremost.
