Hello, I am a professional theatre director, writer, spoken word poet and performer currently running my own company Zoo Co, alongside providing workshop facilitation and working as a freelance director.

I am a tutor for English Literature GCSE and A Level and Drama/ Theatre Studies GCSE and A Level.

I have ample experience tutoring students through these exams, and have a track record for really helping my students to understand the syllabus in order to elevate their grades significantly beyond teachers` expectations. Most of my students have gone on to achieve A`s and A*`s at A Level in the subjects I have tutored.

I have an extensive experience of working with students with special needs, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges including children and adults on the autistic spectrum/ with Asperges. I am a non-judgemental, open, friendly and flexible tutor who will work with you to find ways to work that are best matched to your learning style.

As an award-winning professional and international theatre director, I am also available to coach students through drama school auditions, National Youth Theatre auditions, practical drama examinations and public speaking.

These skills lend themselves well to a one-to-one tutoring environment, where my impeccable communication skills and interpersonal skills really come into action, enabling me to tailor each session to the individual student with compassion, patience and creativity.

I am currently available for online sessions via Zoom/ Skype/ Facetime, and can offer flexible hours as I am working from home.

I am a competent BSL sign language user, and can support d/Deaf BSL users int hese sessions using sign language, and the `chat` function where any further clarification is required.

Experience: - AS and A2 Level English Literature (passed at 100% attainment at exam)
- AS and A2 Philosophy and Ethics (passed at 100% attainment at exam)
- 5 years experience working as a professional theatre director and theatre maker
- Tutoring GCSE and A Level students for 5 years (since leaving secondary school) with excellent references.
- Experience working with disabled children and adults/ people with special educational needs including Disability Challengers, Young Epilepsy, and private care for children with challenging behaviour.
- 7 years experience working as Artistic Director of a multi-award winning, internationally touring theatre company, and as a freelance theatre director of award-winning work.
