Hello! My name is Ben and I am an undergraduate at the University of Oxford studying Biochemistry. I am currently taking a gap year between my degree and Masters at Oxford and so will be available to offer dedicated tutoring support this year (2020-2021). I am an extremely active and enthusiastic tutor and will reply to all messages within 24 hours. Having only finished A levels a few years ago, I have a strong awareness of recent course curriculum and exam technique. With my strong academic profile at GCSE and A level, in addition to my degree experience, I am in a strong position to guide students through tougher areas of the courses in a structured and accessible way. I have previously tutored students in both Biology and Chemistry A level, and it has been a pleasure to see how their final exam grades improved significantly. Approaching lessons with patience and enthusiasm, my lessons are very dynamic and can be personally tailored to each students learning preferences and needs. I can also offer Oxbridge admissions advice, and can specifically offer mock interview practice for prospective biochemistry students. Experience: Private Tuition- Tutored Three students in A Level Biology, offering personalised lessons to each students needs. All three students saw a significant improvement in their predicated grades and final grades which allowed them to achieve their first choice university places.

Private Tuition- Provided tuition to a student resitting A Level Chemistry, with the student able to improve their final result by two grades, securing their first choice university placement.

School Teaching- Tutored GCSE Biology students whilst studying for my A Levels at school , providing guidance through the toughest areas of the curriculum.
