Kate

I am a French language tutor, who is studying at Cardiff University for a BA in Translation. Prior to this I was studying a BA in French and Italian, and studied at Universite Cote D`Azur in Nice, France.
I have studied, Translation, French language and Culture, and, Italian Language and culture. I have taken many language courses such as in:
- French
- Italian
- Japanese
- Mandarin
I am also studying Polish outside of university.

Due to my two degree areas, I have not only knowledge of the languages and cultures themselves, but a broad interest and knowledge in areas such as language acquisition and learning, which can be used to aid students in their learning.
My first extensive paper was on how childhood bilingualism affects communication.

Availability: I am available around my University studies, every morning and evening, all weekend and most days in after-school hours.

Experience: I have lots of experience with young people, having ran writing classes, library reading schemes aiding in teaching children with language learning.
I was recently in training for becoming a modern language mentor in secondary education.
In my family I am the designated tutor for all subjects across my siblings and cousins.
