Enthusiastic and Experienced Engish, Spanish & French Tutor.

I am an Oxford University graduate in French and Spanish with extensive experience teaching English, French and Spanish.

I tailor all lessons to the needs of the student and make them challenging, rewarding and fun.

As well as studying English Literature and Geography at A-Level, my degree course had a heavy literary and historical element to it, and I undertook history, geography and economics degree level courses on an Erasmus exchange in Paris.

I am therefore well equipped to tutor English Literature, English Language, History and Geography up to A level, in an engaging and thorough way. I am passionate about familiarising myself with the challenges of specific exams and topics, and helping my students succeed

I`m a friendly and enthusiastic person who is genuinely passionate about languages, humanities and teaching. Having been through the process of learning foreign languages and living abroad myself, I am very empathetic to learners, and have extra insight into how to teach languages from the learner`s perspective.

Experience: I have taught English as a second language extensively, in a wide range of settings. I taught for three months in a Peruvian secondary school, and tutored privately to both adults and children through my university third year abroad. I have worked with secondary school children teaching both English and Spanish on residential summer camps.

In 2017 I won a scholarship to spend a year studying Japanese in Fukuoka, Japan. There, I worked in a secondary school as a one-to-one English assistant. I worked ten hours each week tutoring private clients and small groups.

I taught pupils of all abilities and levels in English, French and Spanish, and thoroughly enjoy teaching at any part of a student`s journey. All my students improved their ability, knowledge and confidence.
