My name is Laura, I`m from Spain and I am qualified as Primary teacher at Valencia University and I am doing Spanish tutoring in the afternoon/evenings.

I am a professional, highly motivated, passionate and dedicated qualified teacher, demonstrating excellent interpersonal, communication skills and with experience of working with students from different backgrounds. Loyal and caring person who loves making a difference into the lives of children and adults.
Looking forward to meet you and be able to share the Spanish culture, skills and knowledge about the language.

Availability: I`m available every day Tuesdays from 4 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 4 to 5 pm . Even though I am flexible so I could move lessons around for you.

Experience: Currently, I`m working in a Primary School as an HLTA in Torquay teaching Spanish mainly. I am really enjoying and loving teaching languages. Before this job, I worked in special school in Dawlish supporting children with Autism & communication/learning disabilities. I have been able to work with a large arrange of people, including children from Nursery to primary level. I have also been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with Autistic children and children with challenging behavioural conditions. These opportunities have provided me with not only challenging and educational experiences for my career on a professional level, but also some very rewarding moments on a personal level. Also, I teach Spanish ( qualified Spanish teacher as a foreign language) few evenings a week in person and online through Skype.

I completed my teaching degree and training at the University of Valencia, and have also taken extracurricular courses to improve my skills in Literacy, Mathematics and English in order to prepare me as best as possible.
