Jack

I have 5 years of teaching experience of students aged 7-18. I have taught in primary schools, grammar schools and I am currently employed as a Science and 2ic PE teacher at a secondary school in London where I have been for the past year. I have taught in many different regions around the country (3 years in west London, 1 year in Sussex, 1 year in surrey) and have taught abroad a range of different subjects and sports (1 year in America, ½ year in Thailand).

In my current role I regularly lead individual subject mastery sessions with students at school in KS3 & 4, and have tutored former A-level students that I taught to support them with their degree studies.

I believe my greatest strengths are to quickly build positive relationships with young people and to take abstract concepts and simplify them in memorable ways. Whilst I am patient and empathetic in my approach to student learning, my practice is rooted in rigorous expectations and the belief that all can achieve.

I have 5 years of extensive experience in teaching GCSE and Btec Physical Education with the current and new examination boards enabling and giving your child relative Examination questions to help them pass their examinations with ease.
I have also had experience in helping students studying sports science and physical education with research projects and assignments. I have had four years’ experience teaching mentoring current NQT teachers applying for new/first positions and aiding them in their first year of teaching.

Availability: Mon-Friday 5pm- 8pm
