Flexible, fun and interactive online tuition.
Highly experienced former English teacher (PGCE) and private tutor offering individual support with assessments and exam preparation for English Language and English Literature. Friendly and relaxed lessons which build confidence. Main examination boards covered.
Using past papers or homework/lesson tasks we work together to develop:
- academic or creative writing styles
- explanations and analysis for GCSE and A` Level
- examination techniques
Lessons are individually tailored to you using past papers, assessment criteria, discussion, practice and even a little humour.

Luci has tutored our son in Year 11 for English language and literature in preparation for his GCSEs this Summer. Luci has been great and set up a good positive rapport with Jack which helped him to keep going! Luci helped Jack gain confidence and really fill in some gaps in his understanding. She’s made a significant difference for Jack and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

The best English teacher I’ve ever met so far. Luci is such a responsible and professional teacher. She really helps me in my IGCSE language and literature. She is not the teacher who will tell you the correct answer directly, instead, she taught you the way to approach it. Thanks for your effort over the past 2 years!!!

Luci has been tutoring my daughter for a few sessions now and my daughter finds her so accessible, friendly, professional and supportive. We, like so many Year 13s at the moment, are keen to gain the grades for her top choice of Uni; I am very hopeful that this is more of a reality than originally expected. Highly recommend Luci!

Luci is a wonderful tutor. She is passionate and her passion is infectious. My son is having to re-sit his GCSE English Language and he has improved vastly in such a short period of time already. My son struggles to be creative and spontaneous when writing which has had a negative impact on his self confidence. Since working with Luci his self-confidence has come on leaps and bounds and we’re hoping for a grade 7-8 as a result. We highly recommend Luci as an English tutor.

Luci is an excellent tutor. My daughter was looking for extra support with the explanation/analysis for GCSE and examination techniques. After just the first couple of lessons it was clear that this was just the type of support she needed. Luci`s lessons are well structured and tailored to my daughter`s needs and above all, enjoyable. I am confident that with her input, my daughter has a good chance of achieving a top grade which she is aiming for in her favorite subject.
