Information about Katie
I am a second year medical student studying at Warwick University. I previously studied Physiology at Liverpool University. In my spare time I enjoy playing hockey and socialising with my friends.
Availability: I can be free evenings and weekends - I would prefer to work this out with individual students to see which best suits us.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have previous experience in tutoring GCSE Latin and also taught golf to children with disabilities. At university, I have taught seminars to younger students.
Before the formal teaching starts, I will consult with the students about how they feel they`re currently managing in the specific subject, the progress they want to make and what they feel would be the best way to reach their goals.
The actual teaching will be tailored to each individual student based on the progress they want to make. I am happy to work with students and parents where necessary to come up with individualised plans that focus on specific learning areas. Teaching will range from assistance with homework, past paper questions to covering subjects taught in lessons.
