I`m an experienced tutor new to the Tutorhunt and I`m hoping to establish myself on the platform: I am offering my first 2 Tutorhunt students 50% off their first 3 lessons.

My name is Michelle and I`m a writer and online English tutor offering first-class, energetic and passionate English tuition. I am new to this tuition platform but not to teaching: I work casually as a Cover Supervisor, providing emergency teacher cover in high schools all over Chester and the surrounding area. I graduated in 2018, as a mature student, with a first-class English Literature degree and am available for hire as a private English tutor and mentor.

Availability: I am available for hire as a private tutor Sunday to Wednesday in the mornings, afternoons & evenings subject to current availability.

Experience: I have lots of experience and success in preparing students for 7+, 11+, GCSE, A Level, IELTS and all other common entrance English exams (16+, independent schools etc.).

In relation to entrance exams, my students have gone on to gain places in many prestigious schools: City of London, Merchant Taylors, Latymer, Harrow, Eaton, Kings College, Henrietta Barnetts, St Paul`s Girls, Eltham College and others.

For my KS1 and KS2 students, I focus heavily on building their English toolkit, passion for reading and confidence in writing, using a range of inspiring texts and colourful resources.

I have tutored a vast range of GCSE and A Level students, each with individual needs, goals and examination boards and I ensure all of my sessions are tailored to each individual student`s objectives.

I also offer university mentorship for people writing dissertations, personal statements, delivering presentations or proposals.

Being a tutor means that I have experience with a wide range of students, each with different circumstances: some are home-schooled, whilst others have excelled in the school environment and need further stimulation to maintain their passion for the subject. Such a fantastic range of students has really made me into a creative, intuitive and quick-thinking tutor.
