I am a Physician Associate Studies and Biomedical Sciences graduate who is a postgraduate student and I tutor in my spare time.
Maths and English are subjects that can lead to many opportunities and career paths and excelling in it is what I aim to help students to do. Learning these subjects has been a great experience and I am willing to share my knowledge with students who may be struggling with it or need some support, particularly the exam questions.

Availability: Weekends- Any other weekday times will have to be negotiated and may be permitted if available. I tutor in pet-free homes :)

Willing to travel: 2 miles

Experience: I have enjoyed being a peer tutor, but now am looking to do private tuition to share my passion for these subjects. Any other tutoring location can be arranged such as a library.

My main strategy is to teach the content, focus on areas the student may need more support on and then test the student. I choose to give a series of exam questions related to the topic studied and go through the exam strategies on how to structure a coherent and top-band answer and work with the student to develop a great answer. However, please note that every student is unique- so my teaching method is tailored to the needs of the student and the methods the student may prefer.
