I know the de-motivation that comes along with not understanding learning materials and unable to get the extra help from school teachers. Therefore I believe one-to-one, personsed, in-home tuition is the most effective way for students to focus and build confidence.

About me:

I am a recent graduate from Keele University with a Masters in Pharmacy. Alongside my degree I tutored many students short-term for their upcoming science and maths GCSE’s and A-levels, as well as helping pharmacy students in the years below. The experience thereby gained made me rese my passion for teaching it’s turning out to be one of my best talents. I love teaching and the reward that it brings.

Availability: I’m available during the day, evenings and weekends. I’m able to work at home or in the pupil’s home and can travel up to 10 miles.

Experience: I am a very patient and friendly person. My aim is to offer help and support to a person. I try to build an individual’s confidence with the subject area, by giving them the extra help and motivation they need. The teaching style I use is completely dependent on the particular student being taught. I like to break down complex concepts into the simplest form first and then try to build up the student’s understanding. My strengths are being able to communicate concepts clearly in a way students can relate to. Working one-to-one in a tutoring situation I help pupils overcome the negative block and try and adapt my teaching to a student’s needs, empowering them to reach their full potential.
