I have recently graduated from King’s College London with a first-class Master’s degree in Chemistry, and am looking to a share my knowledge and guide the younger generation to achieve their full potential. I am looking to teach the sciences, which I am comfortable with and enjoy due to my academic background and passion for the subjects.

I am well equipped to teach students of different ages as I can engage and communicate well with them, skills I developed whilst working in retail.

Availability: Currently, I am available all week; weekdays and weekends as I`m in the process of looking for a PhD. So I`m very flexible with my hours to suit the client. As well as this, I make myself available to the student 24/7 so they can reach me and ask any questions they have/resolve any queries.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have close to three years professional experience in teaching students aged 14-18 (approx. 200 hours), who were completing their GCSE’s and A levels. The subjects include chemistry, maths, biology and physics. My students have consistently shown improvement by achieving higher grades in their final exams and becoming more confident. The teaching style I adopt focuses on identifying and working on the student’s weaknesses, the areas they struggle with most and helping turn them into their strengths. In addition, I ensure a general broad understanding of a topic and at the end of sessions introduce a short learning self-reflection/summary.
