I am a qualified maths teacher and have been working full time as a teacher of maths for 17 years.

I have worked for the last 7 years as Head of Maths at a secondary school in Washington, as such I am fully up to date with all the new specifications and would classify myself as a GCSE maths specialist.

I have worked extensively with pupils who have been struggling to achieve a grade 5 and have had great success in this area.

I have taught across all age ranges from KS2 to KS5 but specialise in GCSE maths at both the Higher and Foundation tier.

Availability: I now work part time so am available all day Monday. Otherwise check my availability as there are certain times during the week that I am not available.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: 17 years teaching maths full time.

7 years leading a department as Head of Maths.

Many years tutoring friends and family from KS2 to KS4.
