Juliet

Hello, my name is Juliet and I am a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced German teacher. As my mum is German, I visited Germany a lot as a child and really fell in love with the language. In fact, I loved German so much that I decided to study German and French at university and then went on to do a PGCE. I have also lived in Germany and Switzerland too.

As well as being a qualified teacher, I am also an accountant specialising in foreign tax.

Having taken a career break to bring up my children, I now work in a local primary school, where I teach German. I endeavour to make my lessons as fun as possible and my classes are always oversubscribed.
I also tutor on a 1:1 basis, tailoring my lessons to the needs of my students.

Availability: I am available to teach from Monday to Friday during school hours and most evenings.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I was previously Head of German in a local mainstream school and I have experience of teaching German to `A` level and French to KS4 level.

I love tutoring on a 1:1 basis and tailor my lessons very much to the needs of the students, whether that be to improve their conversational skills for holidays, to help them keep up in class, to stretch them, or for exam success.
