I am a South London based dedicated drama tutor, examiner and LAMDA teacher. I teach full time as Director of Drama at a leading London Independent Secondary School. I have over 20 years experience of teaching and examining GCSE & ALevel drama, achieving exceptional examination results. As a trained actor (West End/ BBC), podcaster and radio host, I am friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about my subject. Over 2 decades I have taught hundreds of children, young people and adults with diverse needs, talents and abilities. I offer private tuition for curriculum drama (written and practical GCSE & ALevel revision) Drama school, NYT audition preparation and LAMDA Grades 1-8. I also build confidence for children, young people and adults through one- to-one sessions aimed at helping with social skills, voice, posture and public speaking.
Availability: After school, evening, weekends and school holidays.

Experience: I trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and The National Youth Theatre, I have a BA Hons Degree from Warwick University and a PGCE. I worked as an actor at the The Criterion, The Bloomsbury, Riverside Studios, The Royal Albert Hall, The Peacock, The Gatehouse and The Young Vic, in Londons West End, and have BBC TV credits. I have over 20 years experience as Director of Drama/ Head of Drama/ Head of Arts Faculty/ Gifted & Talented Co- ordinator/ English teacher across a variety of different state and independent secondary school settings in London, Hertfordshire and Essex. I am a full time teacher of 11-18 years olds with expert knowledge of Edexcel Pearson and WJEC Eduqas examination boards. In addition to this I have been a Visiting Examiner for A Level drama and examined GCSE drama independently and for National Exam boards eg Edexcel. I have taught LAMDA and coached countless students through the audition process and into prestigious Drama Schools and NYT. I created Theatre Audience Podcast in 2019 where I host and interview West End actors and do a fortnightly round up discussing and reviewing the latest must-see theatre.
In addition to this I also host my own fortnightly Teachers Talk Radio show and facilitate Keynote Education courses for teacher training, recently running Leading a Thriving & Successful Drama Department.
