I have just finished my undergraduate degree at Cambridge, and I am about to start my Masters at University College London in September. I have a passion for philosophy and religious studies, the subject of my degree. I am also interested in history of art and english literature and I read widely. Aside from academics, I play hockey and row, and love the team aspect of sport.

Availability: I am free afternoons in the weekdays and all day on the weekends.

Experience: For the past four years I have been a mentor on an educational social mobility program in partnership with the Kent Academies Network. The aim is to catalyse social mobility and aspiration towards higher education through teaching and mentoring. Throughout this process I have taught a class of year 9 students English, Religious Studies and Art History. I have also done one-to-one revision and mentoring sessions. This involved explaining content and going through texts, but also creating unique revision strategies and timetables for each student. Throughout my A-levels I mentoring a GCSE pupil at West London Free School. This mainly involved discussion of effective revision and learning techniques. Both of these experiences have shaped my approach to tutoring.
