Full time Science teacher at a large and successful Hertfordshire school. Head of A level Science. Specialist in Physics to A Level with all Sciences and Maths to GCSE.
Teaching for 5 years with outstanding results in GCSE and A level.
I am fairly new to tutoring and currently have a handful of student clients all of whom are making excellant progress.
I have two children, one in year 12 taking science A Levels and one in year 9 about to embark on GCSES and taking triple science.
Availability: Saturdays before 2pm
Other times on request.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Engineering industry background with over 20 years technical experience.
I have been a fully qualified teacher for the past five years, teaching science at all levels from KS3 to KS5.
I specialise in A level Physics and teach all aspects of the syllabus to AS and A level. I am head of A level Science in my school. I have successfully been teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics to GCSE since starting teaching.
I am fairly new to tutoring but have successfully tutored a number of children of local friends and neighbours

Richard was great, took time to understand our needs and responded in a professional competent manner. Richard made our son feel at ease and is clearly an excellent teacher. Unfortunately with the Covid situation we felt it wise to cease home visits and therefore had to end our association with Richard as Zoom would not work for us. I would however happily engage Richard again if needed when the situation changes. My son feels he has improved his science knowledge from the short time he interacted with Richard.
