Information about Sammer
I am currently studying Medicine at Kings College London; having achieved 3A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths A level. I also achieved (equivalent) all A*s in my GCSEs and am willing to teach, and share the different methods and techniques that helped me achieve these grades with my students.
I also help with Medical Interview preparation; and got my King`s offer within 72 hours after my interview, so am willing to do mocks, and share my techniques to help nail the med application process.
I provide online lessons like no other! I have a studio microphone, graphics tablet and I carefully produce detailed, personalised notes for the student throughout the lesson which I send as a PDF document for them to keep.
MY LESSONS FOLLOW THIS STRUCTURE:
1) I explain the topic carefully with useful analogies and tips to help remember and nail the content. I always make sure to test students throughout to make sure that they understand; and that the topic has been adequately explained. I make notes on a whiteboard using my graphics tablet.
2) For the last few minutes of the lesson I prepare some exam questions based on the content covered in the lesson. These questions are taken directly from past papers/the relevant exam board.
3) I sent the student the notes made during the lesson.
HOMEWORK:
I set homework around once a month and it will be a custom designed progress test that is specifically made based on the topics we have covered; and I will provide the student/their parent with feedback on how they are doing and track their progress.
Availability: I am available most days and most times; but please do contact me to check my availability
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I`ve achieved all A*s in GCSEs and A*A*A*A at A level. I have worked in mentoring schemes with younger children so I know how to communicate clearly and coherently, while also getting good results. I helped a lot of my friends get good grades in their A levels by going through topics with them, and am willing to emulate this with my students too.
