I am a fully qualified (QTS) teacher who has been teaching in Secondary school across a range of ability groups for over 5 years now.

I am able to teach KS3/4 Mathematics and KS5 Economics. I can also offer support with UCAS statements.

Experience: An energetic, passionate high energy tutor. I demand work rate and effort. By focusing on Marginal Gains, I aim to boost the confidence of each of my students to help them overcome "Maths anxiety".

In order for progress to be made, I nurture an efficient yet relaxed environment for my students. A learning environment whereby the only silly question is the question that has not been asked and mistakes are cherished due to the learning opportunity presented and the ability to understand why such a misconception has occurred.

By focusing on gradual, continued progress, the emphasis has shifted from one of pure exam based attainment to one that genuinely fosters deeper understanding of core concepts, allowing for students to flourish regardless of their initial starting base/target!
