I have been tutoring for over 10 years, and having recently retired from full time employment after 30 years working in schools and colleges, am now available to take on students throughout the Reading area. I tutor in English, Maths and History at both Primary and Secondary level.

Working on a one to one basis offers the opportunity to adapt my tutoring style to the student`s individual needs, building confidence and skills in a relaxed, supportive and friendly atmosphere. I aim to make the learning fun and interesting for the student, whilst ensuring they acquire the knowledge and skills which lead to success.

I am availabe to tutor in the evenings, at weekends, during school holidays, and during the day too!

Availability: Monday to Friday during the day and in the evening. All day Saturday. During School holidays.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Worked in an educational environment since the late 1970s. Extensive experience working in schools and college. Most recent roles include as an Assistant Principal in a college, before working exclusively as a tutor since 2011.
