I am a conscientious professional teacher with over seventeen years experience of teaching Science at secondary level to KS3, GCSE and A Level to all abilities.
My subject specialism is Biology.

I use a wide range of resources and taylor my tutoring to meet the needs of parents and students. I engage students using various teaching styles, which encourages learners to become more confident and successful with their learning.

Availability: Monday - Thursday evenings from 7-9pm.

Experience: 6 years experience as a Private Tutor, teaching GCSE Science and A Level Biology (AQA & OCR exam boards). Help students improve re-sit and exam grades. I have helped some students achieve A grades at A Level Biology so that they could get into Medical School.

3 years of teaching with Essex County Council`s, Children`s Support Services. During this time I taught mainly Science and Geography to young people from 5 - 16 (mainly KS3 & KS4), who are out of mainstream education for behaviour, medical, social or psychological reasons. This also included re-integration of students into mainstream education.

15 years experience as a secondary school Science teacher, teaching Science at KS3, Biology at GCSE and A Level across the ability ranges.

7 years experience as an Examiner for Edexcel exam board, marking GCSE Biology papers, at both Foundation and Higher levels.
