I am UK (PGCE) fully qualified Secondary Science teacher and private tutor with a specialism in Physics. Outside of the classroom I have been involved primarily with research into Dark Matter and Mass Spectrometry
I pride myself on my ability to judge a students needs and provide a tutoring experience tailored for them by providing a supportive environment where I strive to get the best out of each individual. I`m also very approachable and enjoy building trusting relationships with students.
Through my teaching experience I have developed an in-depth knowledge of exam question structure and I greatly focus on good exam and revision techniques.
I really enjoy being able to personalise lessons in a 1-to-1 environment where I can bring my passion and enthusiasm for the subject to life.
I have received excellent feedback from students and enjoy going the extra mile for them.
Although not mentioned in my Subject areas I have also taught a lot of general science throughout my career. If students would like tutoring in Biology or Chemistry up to GCSE please do not hesitate to ask and I will try to accommodate your request.
Availability: I am available for tutoring at weekends or after school hours, but ideally from 6 on weekdays.

Experience: I am a qualified secondary Physics teacher with a First Class Honours BSc in Astrophysics from Royal Holloway, University of London. I gained practical experience in the field working for the DEAP3600 dark matter experiment in the SNOLAB underground laboratory, Canada. I undertook my PGCE at Reading University in 2014/2015 and have since taught in a variety of schools. I have also travelled extensively and enjoy applying real-life examples to the curriculum to help make lessons engaging.
I have been tutoring for the last few years alongside teaching and my studies.
