Hello, I`m Darius. I`m currently studying Computer Science at Brunel University, London. I`ve been keeping my instrument close to myself ever since I picked it up at the age of 11 years. Ever since then I`m performing at concerts/festivals/projects.

One of the biggest (and overlooked) challenges with music education is igniting and maintaining passion.

..and I believe that only by maintaining passion one can develop his own artistic identity. And only by having an artistic identity one can turn into a passionate performer who delivers invigorating musicianship.

If you chose to be my student, I will focus my best at igniting and maintaining the love for this fantastic, young instrument and music in general!


Beginner, professional or somebody who never held an accordion before, I will teach you about every aspect of this instrument: from handling the instrument`s body, to technique, to choice of repertoire and anything in between. I have experience in a wide variety of music - baroque, classical, contemporary, jazz, pop, musette etc.

At the very least, You / your kid will get some "music modules" inserted into yours/ your kid`s brain - modules that will create connections in your brain that no other activity can develop! And of course, you will have fun and find joy along the way.

*Winner of several international accordion competitions; most notably, Grand Prix at Citta di Lanciano (Italy) and IV place at Trophee Mondiale, one of the most prestigious accordion competitions in the world

*Brunel University Music Award 2018 winner (awarded to only 2 instrumentalists from the whole >10000 student university)


As a teacher, I started getting experience very early on; being 15 y. o., I already was helping my accordion teacher in music school, giving tips and advice to younger students. Currently I have one teenage student who I am giving lessons regularly to. I hope to find more students here on TutorHunt.


I`m regularly participating in various national/international accordion masterclasses/workshops, constantly improving my experience and expertise in accordion performance techniques, practices and general music matters. These events include talks and lessons by such world renowned figures as Vyacheslav Semyonov, Friedrich Lips, Owen Murray, Raimundas Sviackevicius, Claudio Jacomucci and many others
