I am a friendly, patient, supportive tutor, with a gift for inspiring and explaining.
I have a first class honours degree from St. John`s College, Durham University, qualified teacher status, a Master`s degree in Special Educational Needs and an MSc.
I have a proven track record in helping students achieve high results and to feel better about their learning.

Availability: During the school day, afternoons and evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught English for 7 years in a top Independent Girls`s School in Guildford from Y7 - Y13 (Upper sixth). I have prepared students for AQA, OCR, Eduquas, Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE and Edexcel A Level and they have achieved fantastic results. I have also taught Maths up to GCSE level. I have worked at a special needs medical school and taught GCSE English and Maths, as well as KS3 classes. I have tutored for the past twelve years and have vast experience helping pupils pass Common Entrance and gain Scholarships to leading schools in Surrey. I have also helped many primary aged pupils have a boost and achieve high results in their SAT tests. I have taught numerous different GCSE examination specifications and tailored learning to individual needs, so that every pupil I have worked with has increased their confidence and made progress academically. I have also worked for six years at a Boys` Preparatory School in Godalming and prior to that in State Primary Schools, so I am uniquely placed to understand the full breadth of the education system.
