Information about Anthony
I am an enthusiastic, friendly, patient and experienced tutor and a qualified teacher. I have an open and honest style and I am well organised and keen to make learning fun. I am familiar with GCSE Combined Science, GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Physics and A Level Environmental Science syllabuses (I am an Environmental Science graduate). In addition I can offer help in revision strategies, understanding and interpreting exam questions and in exam technique.
Individual tuition can be key in helping learners to achieve their full potential both in terms of exam success and personal development. It can also help to build confidence and encourage a deeper understanding of the subject.
I tailor my style to the individual learner and work hard to understand their needs and areas where they require tutor input and then we will focus on these together. It is important the learner`s needs are accurately assessed and a personalised learning plan put in place as early as possible. This can include homework if required.
Feedback for the learner and the family is always given and is used to update the learning plan.This will ensure that our time spent together is productive and enjoyable.

Tony is such a friendly, engaging, considerate and reassuring tutor. He is very helpful and explains things in a matter that my daughter can understand. He doesn`t rush the lessons, very organised and makes the sessions fun and engaging. I hear her confidence build with every session she has had, and this has been demonstrated in her recent tests. My daughter is very comfortable to let Tony know if she doesn`t understand something, which is very important, and he takes the time to tailor the sessions to meet her needs (I have had a few aahaaa moments when listening in on the sessions). I highly recommend Tony - ⭐;⭐;⭐;⭐;⭐; additional stars!

Our daughter has started taking tuition for Combines Science for GCSE with Tony. She constantly praises Tony and really likes his approach to the subject, she feels at ease with him and is gaining confidence week by week. Her grades have improved tremendously since starting and it has only been a few weeks. She values his comments and how he tailors the session to her needs. We would highly recommend Tony.
