Information about Izzy
I have just graduated from Durham University with a 1st class masters degree in Physics. From my experiences studying Physics and Maths at GCSE, A-Level, and degree level, I understand how stressful and daunting exams can be. This is why I am passionate about helping younger students to excel in these areas, drawing from my own knowledge (gained through trail and error through the years!) of what works and why.
The level at which I study Physics enables me to contextualise topics that my tutees cover at GCSE and A-Level, within the wider field of Physics, which I have found leads to a much more secure knowledge base - and confident student - when facing an exam.
I value any opportunity to be able to share my knowledge and experiences with students studying Maths and/or Physics, who are seeking a tutor to help consolidate and expand their learning. Please don`t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions you`d like to ask (or even to just have a bit of a chat!) to see if I`m the right tutor for you. :-)
A level: A*A*A* (Maths, Physics and Chemistry)
GCSE: 9A* 1A (Where I received the highest marks in my year for Physics, Biology, and Chemistry)
Recipient of Odgen Trust School Physicist of the Year (2016) and BMT Award for Science and Technology (2016), Durham Physics Award for Outstanding Achievement (2020), Florence Nightingale Prize for Graphical Excellence (2020).

My son is enjoying his tutoring from Isabella, which is wonderful as he is not keen to do his homework with me. I would absolutely recommend Isabella as a tutor.
