I am a Primary Teacher and SENCo with over thirty years experience. I am an English Literature graduate (BA Hons) with a PGCE and I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs.

As a teacher and a mother of two young adults, I have the experience, skills and knowledge to make a difference to students who may be struggling in some areas of their learning or those who need to consolidate and extend their learning. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I know I have helped a student understand new concepts, gain confidence and achieve success.

Availability: I am available to tutor Mondays,Tuesdays ,Wednesdays and weekends. I teach online and when lockdown lifts - face to face.

Experience: I have been a Primary school teacher , Assistant Headteacher and SENCo
I have up to date knowledge and understanding of The National Curriculum and have taught children from Reception to Year 6.
As a SENCo I have knowledge and understanding of how to teach children with special educational needs. I am particularly interested in teaching children who are non-neurotypical such as children with dyslexic profiles , ADHD and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).
