What can I say about Sue, but absolutely amazing, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Sue engaged so quickly with our daughter, they have such a rapport and one I haven’t witnessed with any other tutor. The lessons are filled with, expert learning, support and guidance, but more importantly Sue makes learning fun and engaging. Sue is incredibly supportive, patient and really inspires our daughter, through this our daughter`s confidence and self belief has soared.Our daughter can’t wait for her lessons each week. Sue has really helped our Y7 daughter to get up to speed with her English. Our daughter enjoys her hour with Sue and has come on leaps and bounds resulting in being moved up a set mid year!

Sue has been a very helpful tutor. She has worked on a range of reading and writing techniques with my son helping the transition from ks2 to ks3. Sue makes the sessions fun and enjoyable and she is encouraging and enthusiastic which helps build confidence. She has also been adaptable, changing her plans for the session at short notice when asked to cover a particular aspect on her arrival.

Sue tutors both of our boys (10 & 9) to help improve their literacy. From the start Sue has been warm, kind and supportive. She quickly identified ways to help unlock their spelling ability and sets challenging but fun homework each week. Her approach has motivated the boys to work harder and find a passion for literacy. I would highly recommend her.

Excellent Tutor for my 8 year old who wasn`t that `inspired` with English! Sue is reliable, her teaching methods are well tailored/planned and she has a wonderful gentle personality - my daughter has come on `leaps and bounds` and loves her weekly lessons. She even enjoys the homework. I`d highly recommend Sue without hesitation.

Sue is very patient, helpful and friendly and has helped me improve my English greatly and I have passed my English exam with her help. She kept me positive when I felt like giving up . she is punctual always turned up on time and I would highly recommend her.

I chose to do an intensive course at school but I had to supplement it with a personal teacher to develop and monitor my progress in English. I don`t regret having done so, because Sue has been a professional, intelligent, patient teacher who focused on working in the areas that needed improvement during my learning process. Now I am feel more confident and happy about that.

Although the lessons is still ongoing, I can say Mrs Johnston knows what she`s doing and I am finding things quite easy and much more understandable .
