Information about Ilona

I am a highly qualified teacher of English and Spanish. I have been teaching for 14 years and have experience across Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5. Furthermore, I have additional qualifications and expertise in teaching children with a range of Special Educational Needs including dyslexia, ASD, ADHD. I also enjoy great success with children who can present with a range of challenging behaviours.

I am multilingual and have a Masters in Education; I am also happy to teach English for Specific Purposes to adults.

Experience: Having taught in mainstream schools in London and the South East, I now work as a SENCo in school recently rated outstanding by OFSTED. I have also undertaken consultancy, supporting schools which have been facing challenging circumstances.

Ilona has show great enthusiasm with my son and managed to successfully engage him and motivate him from the start. Her many years of experience are immediately apparent when dealing with my son, who finds learning a struggle. I am very glad we found her.
