Information about Laura
I am an experienced primary school teacher who has taught in both KS1 & KS2 with several years experience of year 6. I have a background in dyslexia and was the English Lead in my last school for 9 years. During that time I also moderated for the Borough in both the KS1 & KS2 SATs.
I currently work part-time with the University Of Greenwich as a School Experience Tutor, supporting trainee teachers and their mentors during their School Placements.
English is my passion and I have been tutoring children from as young as 5 to master the skills of phonics, reading, writing and maths, with excellent results. I also tutor for the 11+ and private school entrance exams.
I have a good rapport with children, probably because I have a calm, gentle manner which children respond well too
