I`m a highly experienced private tutor and published writer providing one-to-one tuition in English at GCSE and A-level in Crystal Palace. A former English teacher and lecturer in philosophy, I also offer tuition to adults who want to improve their writing or study skills for academic or professional purposes.

An initial consultation meeting to discuss the student`s needs is free of charge.

Experience: I have extensive teaching experience in secondary, higher and further education. Since 2010, I have been running a busy home-based tuition practice, teaching students from a wide range of backgrounds. Some attend state schools where large class sizes make it difficult to get individual attention; others are at independent schools with a very demanding curriculum. Some stay with me for several years until they finish their studies in English, while others come for guidance on exam technique in the run-up to GCSEs and A-levels.
