Chrisjoy

Chrisjoy believes that every student has unique learning needs, and therefore, he adopts a personalised approach to tutoring, revitalising student progress. He starts by assessing each student`s strengths and weaknesses as well as understands the concerns of the tuttee/ parents, designing customised lesson plans to help students reach their goals. Chrisjoy uses a variety of teaching methods and resources to keep his sessions engaging and informative. He also emphasises problem-solving skills and sharpens a student`s mindset for success, enabling students to become independent learners. Chrisjoy`s biggest joy is seeing students succeeding and reaching their full potential.

Chrisjoy achieved 7A*s and 4As at GCSE, followed by 3* As at A-Level in Maths, Physics and Chemistry with a A in AS Biology. He is currently finishing his Integrated Master`s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham and is projected to achieve a 1st class degree alongisde part-time employment as an event planner at the university`s Guild of Students.

Personal hobbies: Playing 6-a-side football, goes surfing with the university surf society and being an acitive member on the Birmingham University Chemical Engineering Society (BUCES).

Experience: Chrisjoy has over 3 years of experience as a tutor, working with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups 6-18 in both a classroom and 1-to-1 enviroment. He has tutored in Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from KS1 to KS4 as well as A-Level in the STEM subjects. Chrisjoy has also worked with students with learning differences and helped them improve their academic performance.
