I have done both face-to-face and virtual tutoring so I am flexible with your requirements.

I am a full time secondary school science teacher in North Oxfordshire. I completed my MChem at Loughborough University followed by my PGCE at the University of Oxford specialising in Chemistry.

I currently teach all year groups (Ages 11 - 18) with a particular focus on the new Edexcel GCSE and Edexcel A-Level syllabus. I can offer tutoring in all sciences up to GCSE and Chemistry A-level. I am an examiner for both Edexcel and AQA so have detailed knowledge about exam techniques and practise. I also teach the Collins syllabus for KS3 science (Years 7 and 8).

Since starting my career as a teacher, I have found methods that work well in motivating students as well as showing progression. I am highly passionate about teaching and science. I also have a background within the private sector so can offer advice on further education and work.

I can provide resources that will aid my students through their exams and can assist them in building up their confidence for their exams. I work to the pace of my tutee ensuring they are confident with the material and have a good grasp on understanding. I am available via email between tutoring sessions and am happy for tutees to contact me with questions or requests.

Availability: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday anytime after school; Thursday weeknights 6-8 pm. Friday after school. Some weekends
