Information about Alex

I am a recent graduate of the University of Exeter (Politics BA Hons 2:1) and received A*AA in my A levels (A* in politics). I am extremely passionate about the subject and am very willing to offer my assistance for students having troubles understanding the A level/A2 subject areas. I studied UK Government and UK politics (AS) and political ideologies for A2 (so I did not study US politics). I am also very happy to offer my tuition at a lower rate than usual as I feel that a lot of people charge quite a lot more than some students can reasonably afford

Availability: negotiable

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have tutored 2 students regarding (i) subject knowledge/theory and (ii) how to answer exam questions vis-a-vis structure & format, substance of introduction/conclusion, substance of essay/paragraph bodies, etc. This has come in the way of a revision guide I have made that breaks down the subject knowledge and then proceeds into revision and exam revision. It also answers all of the questions that I myself found the most difficult as an A level student. The guide itself is about 35 pages long, and the substance section is only about 20 pages. I maintain that if students learn the material I have detailed within this guide, this will be all they need to get an A for their exam in ideologies (and others, provided the necessity).
