I am a qualified English teacher with 20 years teaching experience.
Recently. I have been teaching KS4 at a London Grammar School, supporting students to finesse their knowledge and understanding. I have amassed an exciting array of resources that engage and inspire students.
I mark exam papers for AQA, notably Paper 1, 2 Language. I have also marked Paper 2 Literature in recent years. Overall, I have a very good understanding of the requirements for each English Paper and can help provide support for specific questions or whole papers.

Aside from working methodically through the English curriculum, according to the level of the student, my ethos is to instill confidence while honing analytical, writing and comprehension skills.

Practice in a variety of ways is paramount to reinforcing knowledge and learning, therefore I employ appropriate strategies that cater to the individual and task accordingly.

At all times, I work in conjunction with the student`s needs and offer support as required.
