Hi, I`m Maya, a university student studying biology at Durham. I offer Chemistry tuition in both GCSE and A Level.

A Level:
I truly believe that with enough motivation, anyone can get an A or A* in their chemistry A Level. With enough practice and the right teacher, the subject is a lot easier than most people make it out to be.

Having studied the whole A Level course very recently, I know exactly what is expected from students to sit the tests. I know the most common questions asked in exams and I know exam techniques specific to A Level. I know what knowledge is expected from students to get the best grades possible, including very specific things that are not made obvious in specifications.

I have closely studied the specifications for Edexcel, OCR and AQA so I can teach any of these.

During the pandemic, schools were shut for months and many students have missed out on learning. I can help with catching up in any topics that may have been left out or with revising any topics that students may not feel comfortable in.

GCSE:
As with A Levels, having the right teacher is very important for learning and understanding topics. The GCSE content is very easy to grasp with the right explanations. I have been teaching GCSE Chemistry for a year so I know how to deliver the content in the right way.

Attended Mathematical Grammar School Cup representing the UK in two consecutive years at the Mathematical Grammar School in Serbia, Belgrade.
