Information about Sarah
I have been working at the Royal Grammar School in Guildford (which is one of the top schools in the country) but I am now working part time 3 days a week (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) as a French tutor so I can spend more time with my children.
Teaching French, my mother tongue, is a real passion for me. Each of my lessons are tailored around my students` needs, strengths and weaknesses, personality and Iearning style. I focus a lot on to improving my students speaking skills and fluency when tutoring, as for me this is key to learning the language more quickly and efficiently. I use a lot of interactive material to help the memorisation process and to make it more fun. And I provide handouts (exercises and help sheets) every lesson.
Lessons can be arranged at my place, yours or in a public place. I can book rooms for groups of 4+ students. And I can also teach online.
Availability: I am available Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been teaching many different kind of students (babies, children, teenagers and adults) since 2012. Also, I qualified as a French teacher in 2014 and have worked in different secondary schools in London and Surrey. I have been in charge of GCSE and A level examinations and marking (AQA, Cambridge International and Edexcel).
