Qualified accountant (CIMA) and MBA from Henley Management College where my dissertation explored the psychology of branding. Having many years post qualification experience as a senior manager in Blue Chip companies, I not only understand the theory, I can bring the subject alive through real life examples. My particular strength is making sometimes complex finance matters straightforward and understandable. I had first time passes in my CIMA exams, so I also “get” how to pass exams.

I only take limited numbers of students to enable me to personalise their material, which means I can provide encouragement to less confident students or challenge the most able to fully achieve their potential. My most recent student went from failing her undergraduate accountancy module, to a First on re-take following my help and tuition, which made us both very happy.

I’m passionate about developing others, and am accredited to perform psychometric testing (Thomas International). While fairly new to tutoring, in my corporate career I have successfully mentored several High Potential managers as part of a formal management development programme. I find helping others develop and learn hugely rewarding, so if you are willing to learn I’m ready to help!

Availability: I am generally available evenings, and can do weekends or daytime by arrangement.

I successfully taught Finance for Non Finance Managers to almost 200 senior managers throughout Europe, so am comfortable teaching one to one or in a group setting.
